I’ve been a hairstylist for almost 22 years. I have a strong passion for clean organic based beauty products. I live in New LENOX

Can you tell us a little about your business?

CBB opened August 16th 2019. We are an organic based eco friendly hair salon.

What made you want to start your business?

I saw a gap in the market. There wasn’t a salon that offered exclusively organic based hair color and products.

What were some obstacles/challenges along the way?

It took me 11 months to find the location I’m in. I had a couple delays with my buildout. It took me a couple months to get employees but everything came together then we got hit with Covid-19. .

Why do you think it is important for women to support other women?

So we can reverse the stereotype that women don’t support each other.

If you could go back in time and tell yourself one thing when starting out, what would that be?

Pay off your business credit card.
