What were the first moments with your child like?
Nathan was quickly whisked away to the NICU after a brief visit to momma in the OR. Dad got to join him for his NICU admission. It was a comforting experience as I used to work in the Prentice NICU and all of my closest friends were taking great care of him. When I finally got feeling back in my legs, I (literally) ran down to see my babe. We took turns with mommy & daddy cuddles all day, every day through his 1 month NICU stay.

What was your favorite part of our session?
The session was controlled chaos. Nathan usually sleeps all day, but stayed awake for the entire session. Ashton was on a sugar high from M&M bribery. We loved that Andrea was so engaging and able to easily calm both kids. Ashton still talks about how she got to help Andrea take pictures of her baby brother with a fancy camera.
