Maternity Sessions are immediate family members only.

All outdoor sessions are shot about an hour before sunset. As moms to young children, we understand that outdoor sessions may not always work out for you in that time bracket - alternatively we can do day time sessions at our studio (located in New Lenox, IL).

how to book

1.  email when you’re ready to book and we will select dates

2.  review and sign your contract

3.  pay your retainer fee (50% non refundable retainer fee due at the time of book and the other is due 7 days prior to our session)

4.  get excited for our session while we send you the pre-session consultation and styling guide


We book popular dates about 5 weeks in advance (earlier in the fall) so as soon as you’re sure that we are a perfect match, get in touch and avoid disappointment - we want to be there!

low key policies and procedures

Due to limited session days and times, your retainer fee is non-refundable and only allowed to be transferred to another date ONCE. If you cannot make it to the scheduled session, please let us know within 24 hours so we can schedule the session for another open day/time.  

While our goal is for you to be absolutely in love with your photos and we will work with you to make sure you’re 100% satisfied, please keep in mind that due to the custom nature of the products, all sales are final. If a reshoot is warranted it must be scheduled within 4 weeks of your original session or else session will be forfeited.

All images will be purged (deleted) 6 months after your session. You are required to backup and store your images. We do not sell our digital negatives and we choose all images given to clients based on our artistic opinion. All images given to client will be hand edited and may not be re-edited, including Instagram filters.

 FAQs

  • Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your partner and older children to your session. This allows us to create beautiful family-focused images, showing the love for your unborn baby. We can also focus on intimate images with just you and your partner.

  • No experience needed! We will guide you through the entire posing process.

  • Outdoor sessions are best during the "golden hour," which is the time just 1-2 hours before sunset when the light is softest. The exact times vary depending on the time of year, but we will discuss this when booking your session to find the perfect time for your shoot. In Studio sessions are best between 9-2.

  • YES! We offer maternity + newborn session bundle discount when booked together.

  • Either in our New Lenox studio or an outdoor location. We have several favorite locations and can recommend a beautiful setting for your session.

  • Absolutely! We are here to guide you every step of the way. After booking, you will receive a Session Guide to help you prepare. If that guide doesn’t answer all your questions, we are just a phone call/email away!

  • Don’t worry! Most people feel a little awkward in front of the camera at first (unless you’re a model!). But I will guide you through everything and help you feel at ease. I promise, you’ll have fun, and the photos will be beautiful!

  • It takes about 2-3 weeks to process your images.
