The first moments with my child :: Magical. Serene. In what only a few moments earlier felt like a cold OR was filled with warmth the moment they placed Cal on my chest. Both A.J. and my eyes filled with the happiest tears and it’s a moment that will forever be etched in my memories.
Favorite things about baby :: The baby snuggles. Is there truly anything better than newborn snuggles? Aside from the snuggles I would say his calmness. His big sisters think he is a real life baby doll and he doesn’t seem to mind one bit!
Your idea of the perfect Sunday :: Our perfect Sunday would start cuddling in bed as a family watching a little TV. AJ would make breakfast or we would go get donuts or “Dough doughs” as Liv and Grace call them. The rest of the day would be spent outside in our backyard swimming in the pool, eating popsicles and soaking in baby snugs!
Mommy says, the best change she's seen in daddy since baby arrived is: Watching A.J. so confidently and eagerly step into the dad role for the 2nd time while embracing the chaos that comes with 3 kids under 3 has been such a beautiful thing to witness. The way he has helped Olivia and Grace navigate the big sisters role and deal with all the changes has been nothing short of amazing. He is our rock. This girl dad got his boy and everyone is so in love!
Daddy says, the best change he's seen in mommy since baby arrived is: The biggest change I have seen in Eileen after baby is that nothing else seems to matter besides the health and safety of our family. The small things that would sometimes cause stress are irrelevant.
How was your experience during your session :: Andrea was wonderful!! She was so gentle with Cal and patient with Olivia and Grace.
