What were the first moments with your child like?

I cried the moment I heard his first cries. It was scary being rushed into emergency surgery and it happened so quickly that my husband wasn’t able to be in there the moment our baby was born. But Matt came in moments after and was the first one to announce our baby’s gender to me. So special! We went in without knowing the gender of our baby, and hadn’t been able to settle on a boy name! Once we saw him we didn’t need to think long - we knew Russell was the perfect name for him! 

Mommy's favorite thing about baby

Russell is such a calm baby. I love it when he gives me sleepy little smiles and the way he looks up at me. He’s the sweetest.

Daddy loves getting his fair share of baby snuggles and seeing his boys together 

What was your favorite part of our session?

Erin did an amazing job working with BOTH of our babies. She took Harrison’s newborn photos and so I knew she was amazing, but I was not super confident that our 16 month old son would be very cooperative for photos. Erin managed to make our session so relaxed and easy and she did so well getting Harrison to pose with Russell!
