The first moments with my child ::  

Absolutely surreal. I think each time I was pregnant, I truly embraced the idea of how awesome it is that we can grow a person! The second they put that tiny man on my chest, I couldn't help but feel in total awe of the end of a beautiful journey, yet so stinking excited to get him home to add to our family.

Favorite things about baby  ::  

The snuggles. I forgot how much I love just laying around with a baby on my chest all day. Oh! And I love his full head of fur.

Your idea of the perfect Sunday  ::  

Allison grabs the coffee and donuts for the fam as soon as she gets up. And then we take some extra time in bed with the kids to snuggle and watch a Disney show when they wake up. Beyond that... just enjoying the sunshine and day with our family (while avoiding all laundry).

Mommy says, the best change she's seen in daddy since baby arrived is:

This is our second. Andrew is a rockstar. He loves our kids to the moon and back. And even if he never wraps up daily household chores like I ask... I wouldn't trade watching him spend all of his time with our little ones. He will be their best friend, best playmate, biggest hug, and number fan forever.

Daddy says, the best change he's seen in mommy since baby arrived is:

Well, Mom is filling out the survey... but I would say Andrew just loves seeing me be a Mom and loves watching the kids attached to my hip at all times. He is my number 1 supporter always.

How was your experience during your session :: 

It was lovely! Andrea, obviously, is awesome. I loved being in the studio by ourselves and not feeling rushed or pressured to get a good shot in.

Words of wisdom for others planning their sessions ::

Strictly for those Mamas... wear something you are 100% comfortable in and don't worry about buying something new and fancy. The last thing you need worry about is how you look. I wore my favorite old cardigan and felt great! Just enjoy the session and know you will get beautiful pictures in the end.
