Being a mother means being totally and completely overwhelmed and never being sure that we are doing the right thing.

It’s hard.

Motherhood is confusion, mistakes, uncharted terrify and blindfolded guessing.

Its sleepless nights, constant worry and never being left alone.

But, its also having the magic touch and feeling your heart melt with every ‘mommy, I love you’.

It’s a sacrifice because life just isn’t about you anymore…

It sometimes means you have to do without so that your children do not have too…

It’s sacrificing things you love for the little people that you love more.

it’s loving someone more than you love yourself,

and loving someone before you’ve even met them.

Its being strong for them when you are weak.

Its smiling when you want to cry and crying when you’re smiling with pride.

Its bracing them for a fall and then dusting them off when they do.

It’s having the worst day and having them hug you and tell you ‘mommy, I love you’ and having it all melt away.

It’s having our hearts carried in the messy, stubby fingers of our children.

It’s knowing that you wouldn’t trade the title of mom for anything in the world.

Being a mother is exhausting.

And often not celebrated as much as it should be.

We want to celebrate you.

Not just on mothers day….

Cedar + Moss Studios is now booking for our Motherhood Mini Sessions

Sessions are scheduled for May 3rd + May 9th at our New Lenox Studio.

*Dates will be rescheduled if the stay at home order gets extended past April 30th.

Sessions are 20 minutes and include 10 digital images.

Clients have full access to our studio wardrobe filled with amazing options for moms and little ones.
