Indoor vs outdoor couples sessions: for starters, indoor is always the best option in the cold months. There is a cozier feeling indoor as well as opposed to outdoor. The sessions are less rushed as they are taken earlier in the day and we aren’t fighting against the sunset. There is a romantic feeling being cuddled up on a couch surrounded by textures and rugs. The mood is darker which translates to the intimacy and the feel we are trying to portray in couples photos. Outdoor sessions are great for warmer months during sunset. They can be a mix of romantic and playful. There is more room for ‘activities’ like swinging, running while holding hands and rolling around on the ground. Playing with shadows is always fun too and that works wonderfully outside.
